Dr. L. Zapiach

Areas of Specialization: Dr. L. Zapiach completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology at New York Medical College in 1976. He is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. L. Zapiach's areas of interest include colon cancer prevention, diagnostic and therapeutic upper endoscopy, colonoscopy with polypectomy, inflammatory bowel disease, and hepato-biliary diseases. Dr. L. Zapiach is the founding member of Hudson County Gastroenterology, a practice with a combined clinical experience of over 60 years in successfully treating gastrointestinal ailments.

Dr. M. Zapiach

Areas of Specialization: A member of Hudson County Gastroenterology, Dr. M. Zapiach, completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology at East Carolina University, and he is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. M Zapiach's areas of interest include upper endoscopy, colon cancer prevention, colonoscopy with polypectomy, hepatic-pancreatic diseases, and capsule endoscopy.

Additionally, Dr. M Zapiach has conducted original clinical studies on the subject of pancreatic neoplasms at the Mayo Clinic, Minn.



 
Rafael C. Ramos, MD (Retired)

Areas of Specialization: Dr. R. Ramos completed his Gastroenterology fellowship at Yale University in 1977. He is board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. R. Ramos is an original member of Hudson County Gastroenterology. His areas of interest include the differential diagnosis of liver diseases, malabsorptive syndromes, chronic diarrhea, upper endoscopy, colonoscopy with polypectomy, complications of bariatric surgery, and endoscopic retrograde choliangio-pancreatograms.
